DIFFERENT STYLES TO MAKE QUIZZES

In our century, students always want to see different, attractive and enjoyable tools in the classrooms. Therefore, teachers should be open to innovations, and they need to know how to integrate new technological tools into their classrooms. Ordinary quizzes, classic exams, and boring homework become a history with the developing conditions, so I will share entertaining sites to assess your students!

KAHOOT!

Kahoot is an perfect site for making quizzes for students, but the only condition to use it in classrooms is that every student should have one computer.
- Teachers prepare questions, and they reflect them to the board with a game-pin.
- Students enter the game pin to their computers, phone or tablets and then they read the questions from the board.
- After that, they select their answers from their own computers.
- After each question, everybody can see the analysis of choices in the board.
- At the end of the quiz, students see their results, and then the student who has the highest score becomes the winner.

We prepare a Kahoot for beginners about Comparative&Superlative. If you want to see it, you can click on the picture. Then, go to 'kahoot.it' from your phones or tablets, and enter the game pin there. I strongly propose that every teacher should use Kahoot in their lessons to see the difference!

SOCRATIVE!

Socrative presents so opportunities like selecting a topic for quizzes to teachers. However, students need to have an account to take the quiz. There is a room system in Socrative.
* Students enter their teachers’ rooms.
* Students see the questions on their own computers or tablets.
* Results are sent to the teachers. Also, results are saved to Socrative.
* Students can access them at any time. Individual students reports can be made available to students as well.

PLICKERS!

Plickers gives an opportunity to students who don’t have any devices. Thanks to this application, students use the unique labeled A-D codes.
- teachers ask the questions.
- students show their answer papers.
- teachers scan answers papers with a device.
- Results are saved automatically, and then teachers assess them.

In the light of these tools, teachers should select the appropriate one for their classrooms' conditions, and they should enhance the productivity in their lessons.
